Broadlands Children Centre joined our Tuesday morning session between 9.30am -11.30am from December 2009 until their own purpose built room was completed. Now they have moved into their new home we still think it is a fantastic time for our staff to work in partnership with the outside agencies around us and to swap great ideas , and also for the children to build up their skills with other children of differing ages and needs.
It is an opportunity for parents/carers to spend time together, to support each other and to gain information from local networks and charities who have extensive experience and knowledge of places which parents/carers can go to, access support for themselves and their children in other areas other than childcare & education. For example: Benefits, Job centre, Home Start ,Training for parents and lots, lots more.
The children who are with us on these mornings thoroughly enjoy it, they can't wait to see what Laura has brought for them to play with and who else is going to come and join them and they especially enjoy sharing their time with the younger ones who access these great sessions.
So whether you are just visiting Broadlands Children's Centre or if your child already attends Bright Sparks , this is a great opportunity for you to come in and join in with the Fun.
